Abu Dhabi, 30 September 2020 - Leading estate management company Provis organised over 480 virtual classes and delivered approximately 5,000 minutes of free online Live classes to residents in the UAE. Provis introduced its virtual sporting and lifestyle experience to the UAE community in March in support of government directives urging people to stay at home and stay safe, and to ensure people in the UAE remain active and entertained while complying with movement restrictions brought on by the pandemic.
Dana Awad, Executive Director at Provis, said, “We are very glad to see the level of interest in our virtual classes and activities. We are continuing with these virtual classes as the rate of engagement demonstrated the UAE community’s keenness to take part in safe and socially distanced activities while minimizing non-essential travel.”
Awad added, “As government regulations have eased significantly, we are delighted to launch over 150 new fitness, wellness and lifestyle classes across Provis managed communities to complement our virtual sessions, while taking all precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our residents and staff at all times.”
In response to temporary closures in March this year, Provis redeployed its gyms and clubhouses staff to deliver virtual classes focusing on various fitness, wellness and spirituality activities such as meditation, yoga, Zumba, Pilates, cardio, bodyweight exercises, strength training, ballet and many more. Anyone with an internet connection, in the UAE and beyond can access the special virtual classes.
